N'ilu Nazareti - A Christmas Story

Wife, mother, God lover, fashion designer, writer, singer-songwriter, worship leader, OBA is a thousand shades of awesome.

OBA, as fondly called, has led several souls into God's presence with reckless abandon. Never bothered by the size of the audience, she throws in the same level of energy that she would into leading a crowd of  100,000 people into leading an audience that is as little as 5persons.

She has two albums, Simply Divine and AKODA to her credit, which both reveal her musical strength and vocal dexterity. The generous artiste recently announced a Christmas Single, N'ilu Nazareti, to be shared for free on various Social Media platforms, for your listening pleasure. 2015 Holy Ghost Congress

How time flies!

Some 18 years ago, I wasn't even a member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God then, there was so much publicity about a program to be hosted by Pastor E. A Adeboye. It was tagged Lekki '98.

Most of my friends and some members of the church I attended then were going to attend the program, so I decided to tag along. You know that peer thing that makes you want to be where "it's happening". But somehow, we didn't know enough to leave home in the morning, my friends and I decided to leave for the program around 4pm. You don't need to guess so much, we didn't make it to the program. I'm sure you know why! Almost everyone in Lagos wanted to attend.

I didn't really understand why there was so much noise about the program until years later when I became a member of RCCG and started attending programs in Camp. Then I realized that the Holy Ghost Congress isn't just one of those events where you dance away your sorrow and then continue from where you stopped the next day. It is a place of accessing God's presence and divine intervention.

From the very first Holy Ghost Congress, Divine Visitation to the last one, The Great Shepherd, there has been testimonies of healing, blessings, restoration, open doors, fruitfulness and many more. And I have no doubt that the ongoing one, The Flood Gates of Heaven will not be an exception.

The Congress kicked off with an opening service on Monday December 7th, 2015 and is schedule to hold twice daily on Tuesday & Friday, while there will be 3 sessions each on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, so no one will have an excuse to be absent.

Perhaps, for some reasons you can't attend the program, there's provision for you. simply join in on Dove TV, Channel 349 on DSTV, RTM or watch it online at www.trccg.org. Ministering will be Pastor E.A Adeboye and other anointed men of God at The Redemption Camp.

Draw up your list and take it to God with an assurance that the expectations of the righteous will not be cut short.

God bless you.

EXPERIENCE 2015

In the year 2014, one of the deadliest diseases in world history, Ebola, stopped over in Nigeria, got everyone crippled with fear and took a few lives, but that was the best it could do. Personally, I know that no God other than Jehovah could have eliminated that plague in such a short period of time, in a country like Nigeria, where we are not particularly keen about hygiene.

Before and after that, there had been instances where almost everyone would have thought there was no way of escape, but God came through.

I often wonder why God loves not just this nation, but its people so much. A gospel artiste once sang, "when praises go up, blessings come down". It is also recorded in the bible that God inhabits the praises of His people. Very true!

For the past 10 years, thousands of persons have annually gathered with one voice to worship the Most High God at a location, and we have constantly seen the hand of God.

Experience is here again. The gathering isn't about who knows how best to sing neither is it a fun fare, but it is a congregation of worshipers from various tribes & denominations with genuine longing for God.

The Experience 2015 holds at TBS Lagos at 7pm today, Friday, December 4th, and has a line-up of worship leaders from all over the world. They include: Nathaniel Bassey, Frank Edwards, Don Moen, Donnie McClurkin, Fred Hammond, Hezekiah Walker, Kim Burrell, Jessica Reedy, Sonnie Badu, Chioma Jesus, Sammie Okposo, Midnight Crew and Micah Stampley, amongst others.

Plan to be there, indeed it is going to be an EXPERIENCE!
